Suspended Whale Shark

We worked as part of an assembled multidisciplinary team to develop, construct, and transport a steel sculpture of a whale shark to Qatar for a suspended installation between four skyscrapers in Lusail as part of an inauguration event for the FIFA 2022 World Cup games. I acted in several capacities, including QA, and fabrication, yet, my main role was to enable and design a complex shipping and crating strategy to move the piece in over 100 sections, from London to Qatar, on time and without incident.
